Thumbs up Exhaust tip cleaning

Hey all, Sal here. Many moons ago a topic like this was posted about what could be used to clean the carbon off the exhaust tips. Well, I have tried almost every combination of chemical and mild scrub device, only to barely remove hardly any of it. I was cleaning out the garage, and came across a product called Blue Job. I used to be a parts man a my brothers Harley shop, and this was the only product that actually worked for removing "bluing" from chrome pipes, and without scratching them. I thought "well, it's not the same thing, but it's worth a try". Guess what? It took the stuff off and the tips look brand new. You should be able to get it at any aftermarket Harley shop.

I've used Never Dull on those incredibly poorly done extensions with good results.
