What does the search function have to do with anything, Brooks?

 

Would you want everybody from F150online.com posting their off topic links in the Lightning forum??

Guess what happens when they do.
The next time anyone wants to do a search for something specific in that forum, they will get false hits on off topic posts. This also puts the server under additional strain because it has to go through extra posts in the forum that you are searching.

You may not have been on here long enough to remember when our didn't work at all.
In a word, it SUCKED. You couldn't search for anything.

I will do whatever I can to keep the website and all of its features running.
If you think that makes me a ****, I really don't give a flying F.

From now on, I think I'll just delete off topic posts instead of moving them.

A good compromise would be to leave it for a day then move it
if you feel a need to. But that would be too accomodating to the
users of the forum, huh?

All the more reason that places like

Here's a better compromise, put your posts in the correct forum, or they will be deleted...

 

Clone I am not trying to be a jerk but the leave in for one day dosnt sound like a bad idea. I very rarely hit any other forums on here but read the Lightning section daily.

While I am complaining we need an easier search function I am not smart enough to use it, it takes multiple attempts to find something ,if I find it.

I, for one, think the moderators are doing a great job. Thank you for what must be a thankless job.

I check two spots... My brethern, in the supercrew forum, and then onto the general. Not a big deal, takes all of 10 minutes.

Three cheers to clonetek!!! It's no surprise that the biggest offenders to the posting rules are those who post in the Lightning forum. It's been going on for years. Nice to see a crack down.
