Other Line-X Uses

I just watch a show on the Discovery Channel, that they are using Line-X to spray on concrete blocks to prevent bombs from fragmenting the concrete blocks in buildings when attacked by terrorists. Very interesting show. They had a 16" block coated with Line-X, and dropped it from a two story building, when it hit the ground, it just bounced, didn't break.

It's a very useful product. I saw several instances where they were spraying it inside fenderwells to protect from the tires kicking up rocks and dinging the metal.

I heard they were going to do that at the Pentagon. I'm not sure if they did or not. I saw them drop those blocks, it was amazing.

We put it on our armoured vehicles at work, mostly for traction when we walk all over them.

Actually, that particular product is called Paxcon. Paxcon is similiar but is not the same product that is sprayed on trucks. LINE-X dealers have to have special permission to spray Paxcon. Yes, they did spray part of the Pentagon with it. Also, LINE-X has the contract to spray inside US submarines.

Buy a cheap wheelbarrow for $25, get it sprayed and your grandchildren will be using it when you are dead and gone.

( they may even use it to plant you)

The most interesting thing I have ever sprayed with LINE-X was a custom made trailer that was about 7 ft by 8 ft that was made to hold satellite communication equipment for the military in Iraq. From our shop, it was taken to President Bush's ranch for military approval, loaded with the equipment, and then shipped to Iraq. This happened about a month ago. We sure were proud that day.
