raced an SRT-10 Ram tonight, RAM breaks down!!!
well..a good buddy of mine just bought a brand new black SRT-10 RAM, and i was just dying to race him!! so we loaded up the camera and head out...it was my usual crew...03' Harley, 03' Hemi RAM, me, and the newest member to the group the SRT-10...
Round 1: Dead Stop
light turns green, i easy out of first , (with my worn F1's) soon as i hit second i hit it, tires still give a little...RAM is 1/4 car in front of me and we stayed and = distance apart till 120mph....
Round 2: 40 roll
3 honks, stayed dead even all the way to 135 or so (he got a slight jump on me)
Round 3: 20 roll
Ram in 1st gear, 3 honks i spin to about 40 (feathering the gas) Ram breaks loose a lilttle, soon as i grab traction i jump 1/2 car in front....ram is still sticking right on my back bumper...all the way to about 125 or so..then the ram just drops out like someone just pulled the plug on it...we cost down the off ramp and he pull's on the shoulder...im like wtf? he gets out and says.."its dead!" again i was like WTF!!!!....
only 295 miles on the motor...let is cool and tried staring and got nothing.. i recorded all of this with my new digital camera so i will defently be putting this on all the forums! i felt so bad for this guy who just bought it that day and hadnt even used 1 tank of gas! its ok warrenty should cover everyhting...this guy is president of a huge computer company named Vistec inc.....his other car is a 98' twin EATON supercahrged, lamborghini diablo....vids should be up soon guys!!!

I've heard of a few clutchs, 1 or 2 tranny,s and a motor or two
so far ??? just curious if there's a pattern developing already ???

Oh, Baby!! This is sweet...
We have our next SRT video poster child.....That SRT is anything but imprssive! I hope (PVO-SRT) realizes they aren't getting off the hook so easy, by just throwing a sports car powertrain in a truck?
If that d@mn thing didn't break down you could have had some more video. What's with these trucks? Missing gears, leaking rear trany seals, clutches and now flame-outs? Seems the guys that go out and use the trucks get hit with problems. Maybe they are better off just throwing a cover over them and call them garage queens.
Maybe a burrito wrapper made it's way into the intake or something on the asy line....
Yeah, I'll pay $46K+ for a truck that isn't any faster than a five year old design Gen 2 Lightning. They should feel real good about that sale....Would you like cheese to go with that wine?....LOL!

wel..pretty much on my truck right now all im running is upgraded mass air, single blade T/B, diablo chip, plugs, thermo, 4lb lower, and a KB.....stock block, stock fuel, stock exhaust, stock tranny...made 431 at the wheels....my full exhaust and t-bars are comming next week..so when he gets his truck fixed we will be racing again..,,we think its something electrical,because it would turn over, and it was getting fuel cuz you could smell it, but it would just sit there and turn over and over and over..nothing..he said it cut out and just stalled around 135 or so and he coasted all they way off the off ramp....we will know next weeek.
