Scotchgurad says not to use it on leather.

Cool

The grey suede looking material is cloth. Only the dark inserts are leather. I'm gonna scotchguard mine first chance I get. The parts dept. carries stuff for leather. BTW, I see you got the FAST color.

I use wet okole neoprene seat covers to protect mine. I used to worry about getting my seats dirty. Yesterday, a coke spilled out on the seat. No problem, I just quickly soaked it up with some McDonald napkins. Life was good, no problems.

Hope this helps. The covers rock.

Question

Lucky99 or anyone else w/ wet okole covers, what does the cover do to the seat cover over a period of a year or so??? Any damage to the cloth?

Lightbulb

I don't know about long term effects of the seat covers on L seats. I got mine for Christmas, so only about 4 months on them. No problems so far.

If I run into any problems, I'll be sure to post any warnings.

I was pretty sure that the light gray portions were suede and that the black inserts are actually synthetic. In any case, I used Kiwi suede cleaner/protector and it seems to work great. I spilled a bunch of water on my seat, and it kind of beaded up until I could grab something to soak it up. There is no trace of where I spilled the water.

The seats are fake suade. I sprayed on 2 cans of 3M Scotchguard when mine was new and I've spilled LOTS of stuff (coffee, burger juice, I'm a bit piggy) on them and it has come right off. The carpet has been a little harder to claen.
