Help Sirius Dead! Connect error see dealer

Hello,

2008 FX4 SC 4X4, Factory Nav, 6 Disk, SIRIUS Head unit. Original Owner.

Today I started the truck and began to drive to work. Pushed the SIRIUS button and the unit displayed "connect error - see dealer" at the top, and nothing else.

Every other feature works, SIRIUS account paid and up to date.

Any suggestions how to fix or "reboot"

If the following non-responsiveness is any indication, yall may need to just go visit the dealer ... no one here appears to have an answer ...

Hey madmaxgt,

The best troubleshooting step I am able to recommend is called a master reset. Follow these steps: http://support.ford.com/sync-technol...ync-navigation

If you're still unable to connect to Sirus after trying that reset, reach out to the Sirius Support Center; they may have some other tricks up their sleeves. They can be reached at: 1-888-539-7474.

Sirius "Connect Error" w/ installed Factory Navigation

Did you ever get this resolved ... I was looking around and came up with the following when comparing harnesses ...

1 832 (LB-PK) Blue --- 22 CAN Bus +
2 * NC NC * Not Used
3 694 (BK-LG) Black Green 20 Ground
4 * NC NC * Not Used
5 856 (VT) Violet --- 22 Satellite radio left signal +
6 690 (GY) Gray --- 22 Satellite radio right signal +
7 833 (TN) Tan --- 22 CAN Bus -
8 * NC NC * Not Used
9 797 (LG-VT) Green Violet 20 Voltage supplied at all times
10 57 (BK) Black --- 20 Ground
11 798 (LG-RD) Gray Red 22 Satellite radio left signal -
12 799 (OG-BK) Orange Black 22 Satellite radio right signal -


Seems that the harness I purchased is missing the Ground in Pin 10 ... also there is an additional wire (taped back) .. Green with black tracer .... I haven't tried anything else ... I just contacted the vendor
