Sirius antenna?

I am having problems with my Sirius antenna. It shows one bar and says aquiring signal on the display. When I put the unit in my van it works fine. Do I need a new antenna? I tried wiping it off but that did nothing. it is on top of my roof and comes thru my 3rd brake light.

Do you use the same antenna for the truck as well as the van? If seperate, then yes, sounds like the truck one is screwed. I've had this when the last bit of wire just before the round puck base has been bent, the wire is brittle.

It is the antenna, found an old home antenna ad plugged it in and it works like a charm. I bought a new one today and just have to wait for a dry day to change it over.
