Sirius FM Direct Connect Problem

I bought a direct connect kit for my Stratus today to eliminate the bleed-over static but I ran into an issue. The straight antenna plug for the direct connect hit the back of the radio pocket/duct work in the dash, being about 1/4" to long that I can't get the head unit back in. Does anyone know of antenna extension that has a shallow 90* male plug on it or an adapter that is 90* out of the radio. I asked a tech at Bestbuy and he suggested notching the duct work for it to fit.

If it helps:

Thanks.

Not sure, but at a local parts store that sells radio install stuff, there should be adapters, some that come 90* angled from the back of the deck. Problem is the fm direct plugs right in to a Ford, so any adapters would be Ford sized to Ford sized, so maybe an extension? Look on ebay also. Mine works fine, but I have a Pioneer unit so there's lots of space.
