Best route to SIRIUS on an '08 Expy?

Okay, we pulled the plug and traded the '06 (in the sig) for an '08 Expedition... it has the sat ready radio, but no module for SIRIUS... we also have a line-in...

So... should I try and get the module off ebay or somewhere? Or anyone have one lying around?

I had just paid up on a quarter of service about a month ago... they will suspend the account...

Any ideas?

The cleanest route is to get a factory Sirius tuner from eBay. Cheapest route is the get an aftermarket Sirius receiver (Sportster for example). You could also get an aftermarket head unit but it doesn't sound like that's your goal...

Update

I called SIRIUS to cancel my service...

Long story short, they put my account on hold so no more time runs off...

Are sending me a free reciever, with the car install kit and adapter...

And a number to call to get it installed professional on their dime.

Could be worse, right?

I'll take free any day.

Wow, that's hard to beat! I've done that same thing with DirectTV before but didn't expect to hear Sirius does the same stuff. Congrats man!

Bonus!

As it turns out... the unit is about the size of an iPod...

Here's the "bonus" part...

In the '08 Expy, I have a factory "line-in" below the A/C so I can have as close to loss-less signal as possible... I can keep the unit hidden until I need to use it, then plug in the cig adaptor and away we go.

They also sent an antenna adapter along... since I have the line-in on the '08 it works out that I can use the antennae through FM mode on my '99 F-150, too!

All I need is an extra sat antenna... or I may just keep it in a bag together and set it on the dash near the windshield each use...

Anyway, I thought I'd share the spoils of victory with you all.

Now I can have it on two vehicles on one code/unit!
