What do you think?

My two friends and I want to run up to the track. We can't for a little while because one of them just got in a wreck, about a month to fix, been in for two week now. He claims "Your truck sounds like a weed eater, i'll kill it in the quarter" the other one says " Any Dodge will kill your ***, and I bet my PowerStroke does too" Do you think I should lay down the law or what.

2008 Silverado CrewCab 2WD 5.3
K&N intake
FlowMaster 50 series

2006 PowerStroke F-350 Dually 2WD
6.0 Stock.

My mods are in sig.

I've raced them on private roads to 60 and killed them both Chevy by atlwast 4 lenths diesel was terrible I got a video if needed, they both happen to claim that after 60 they'd catch up and pass me like nothing. Should I talk the talk and bring them to the track or jsut **** and stay home?

Yeah take everthing out you can, every 100lbs is a tenth/second in the quarter.

Film it tho, I'd think the chevy would take the cake on that match up.

X2. Your truck is lighter and will get off the line quicker but i think the chevy will catch you in the end. Either way it will be fun and a close race.

Close yes. You in the short track. Chevy (heavier) in the long run.

I ran a 15.194 at the track, they were both in the 16's. My Extended cab V6 beat them both too. It ran a 16.886

It's always nice when you can lay the smackdown on the haters with a v6.

I got a Dodge 2500 Cummings the other day, looked like a 2000 or so. Everyone round here thinks their diesel is so fast, when really any diesel with lift, 33's and a stock motor is pretty slow.

I bet the older cummins are not even good for that bud, cause I dont think my truck is in the 16's... now my best win was against an 07 crew cab cummins 6 speed, all though he was coming up very fast by 90.
