0-60 times?

Actually the converter countinues to multiply torque after stall speed however peak multiplication comes at stall speed. In fact multiplication countinues until the impeller and turbine speed are nearly equal. That's when you want her to lock up and rely on the blower for all your torque. For my drag tune I don't lock up till 89mph. Of course if my converter were stock I'd have to lock up around 68mph as the stock converter can't tolerate the heat. Post up your results when you try different settings. Great truck!

I timed a 6.9 today.
I removed 300lbs, raised shift points and didn't lock the converter.
Tomorrow I will make a couple of runs with the converter locking early in second and report back.
I am getting a bunch of wheel spin as I removed approx. 200lbs of the 300lbs of weight from the back. Better tires ain't happening, so I may just put some weight in the back for future runs.

I just got a SCT Livewire TS 5015. I'm still learning how to use it. It literally has only been two days that I've had it in the truck. I'm not a tech guy and I really am having a hard time with this touch and "Flick" crap. I just discovered today how to bring up the gauges in it and saw that it can do run times and stuff. So for the heck of it today I tried to do a 0-60 time. When I first got to "that screen" it said something about putting in the weight of the truck. I didn't know what it was and it was set on 3,000 (lbs) I think. I just left it as it was, hit continue and the gauge came up. Waited for traffic to pass then I hit the start button. Gave it about half throttle until it stopped spinning the tires. Put it almost to the floor and held it there till the speedo said about 60. Then it came up. It said 6.45 sec. at 61.7 mph. That was all I tried. I was running on the 93 canned tune. I tried the custom I requested when I first put the tuner in, and this 93 canned tune can't come close to that one. So now I'm anxious to bring the custom tune up and give it a try.

Trust me your truck weighs alot more than 3000lbs. Depending on configuration it weighs between 4685 and 5866 pounds. Thats totally empty of any fluids/cargo or ppl. Check out this spec sheet.

I went out last night and checked my door sticker. It says GVWR - 7,700 lbs.. Combined weight of occupants and cargo not to exceed 1,611 lbs. So I guess my dry weight is 6,089 lbs. Plus full tank (which it nearly was), so we'll say 200. Me at 315. Tonnaue cover - 75. Skid Plates- 30? Brushguard + lights - 40? so maybe I'm around 6,749 lbs.!

I've seen some amazing times here. Is it possible however to have these times without mods?
