First Time On The Track

Alright, I ran my truck for the first time on the track Saturday night just to see what it could do. It's an 1998 F-150 Extended Cab 4WD. I'm getting ready to do some modifications and I figured I could use the track as a guage. It ran in the low 11's @ 64 mph on a 1/8" mile long track. You can see my mods in my sig. I had a blast running it on the track I can see how someone could get addicted to racing.

Jason can you clarify?
Where the mods in your sig already done when you went to the track
or are some or all of these in the list 'planned mods'?

The Mods listed on the my sig are mods that I already have. I'm running 5 lbs of boost at the moment. I plan on running 10lbs of boost with 42lb injectors, 90 mm MAF, 255lph fuel pump, Air to Water Intercooler and a custom dyno tune.

really all those mods and low 11s for the 1/8th??

my 97 v6 ran 11.7s for the 1/8th last year completely stock. With your gears and S/C I'd have thought you'd be faster than that. Maybe its a weight thing with lift kit and wheels etc...
