How would they compare

This may be a stupid question but how would my truck lifted with 35's with 456 gears, magnaflaw exaust and a k&n cai match up with a stock f150 (5.4) in a 1/4 mile or 0-60

Question

What engine does the lifted truck have?

I was just curious since all trucks have exactly the same engines and other options, that's why they only offer 1 model of F-150

sorry but I couldn't resist

wihtout a regear or at least a tuner to correct the speedo and recalibrate the trans for optimum shifts i'd say the lifted truck would be a bit slower

Keep in mind, that your 4.56 gears are brought back down to earth with those 35" tires. Also your tires and wheels are probably pretty close to double the weight of stock tires and you have the additional weight of lift kit.

I have a 2007 F-150 Supercab 4X4,3.55 LS axle,5.4 and i ran a

16.653 at 83.237 mph in 1/4 mile and a 10.791 at 65.056 mph in the 1/8 mile. That is all stock from air filter to stock exhaust no mods at all and 17" rims with 255/70RX17" tires.

Did they stop teaching punctuation in composition class?
You're gear ratio will have very little difference in your 0-60 times. As mentioned before, the unknown extra weight of the wheels (not specified) and tires (also not specified) will likely eat up any advantage you have in lower gears. The extra height of the truck will cause quite a bit more drag resistance on the truck. Additionally the weight of the omitted lift kit may eat up some more of your power.....I guess what I'm getting at is that you and your friend should sign up your trucks on Pinks and find out who has the fastest truck. We can't lose!
