It seems to be common sense to know where they're at on most sites because it's located at the top. It's a priority to follow the rules and should be seen and be available for everyone to access easily.

Generally they aren't hiding at the very bottom of the page in size 6 font...

Well i generally look for all the functions on a website page just to educate myself with its workings. I guess it's because I work with close tolerance measurements all day.

I respect that completely. Personally I was just trying to find the rules. It really shouldn't be hiding down there at the bottom. If you aren't familiar with the site (ie new members) it would be extremely difficult to find those. Heck I'm pretty good with a computer and I couldn't find them.

To your question about hitting the highway; it is an option. This is a truck site with a general discussion forum - not a religion site with a sub truck forum.
Road maps available upon request...

Fully agree on the part I high lighted. As this forum becomes more and more popular, new members may not be aware of this issue and will probably post controversial material which would once again lead to religious and or political material, example: Poll- "In God we trust" removed from $$$ (Yes, I realize this thread didn't get lock due to the enormous amount of religious support, but it still falls in the category of "religion conversations")
To avoid being asked many more times to remove, lock, and delete controversial posts, would it be a good idea to add under "General Discussions" Talk whatever you want to talk about none automotive related issues except, Sex, Religion, and Politics; or something of the sort.

On another note: I was immediately reprimanded with a yellow card, an "Infraction" tab was placed on my profile, and was threatened to be given a "vacation" if I violated the rules again, after I "circumvent the language filter" using the S word (excrement) by replacing the I for a 1. I'm OK with the punishment, "the rules are the rules", never-the-less, is it fair that the, few of many, members I quoted below, allowed to "circumvent the language filter"? Or is "WFT" not considered CTLF and OK to use?

Technically, yes WTF is probably a circumvention, however, since this kind of policing is left to the moderator, I tend to leave it alone as some smart alec will say he meant What the Fool, or What the Fire or some other harmless group of words. I don't like letting it go, but it is what it is. When someone replaces one or two letters in a word, there is not much left to the imagination, and it requires dealing with it. Generally, there are better adjectives, adverbs, verbs and nouns that can be used to communicate the message. Some just think they are being "cool" or funny.

Additionally, we know we can't catch all of the violations, we just respond when we see one. As you can see, moderating is not all cut and dried, you have to try to use some common sense, yet maintain the integrety of the owner's wishes. It can be a fine balance. By pointing the violations out that we see, and issuing a warning, we hope to reduce the number of serious violations.

No. Your cat was the one that killed my Teckel. My Tackel ate your spoiled cat and right after, he died from food poisoning.

WTF with the text on your sig. Stealth, which part of "This is a truck site with a general discussion forum - not a religion site with a sub truck forum. don't you understand. Your signature is offensive, derogatory and intentionally placed to only stir the pot and irritated "several" members of F150Online. Your mentality of "my god is better than your god" perpetuates misery and prejudice to those of other faiths and non-believers like us. This is truly of offensive. Admins do "draw exception when folks just place things either on the site or within their signature to further fuel the fire - or a fire that has been previously extinguished."

This post is directed to SSCULLY and RockPick -

WHY did neither of you direct me to that obscure "Terms of Use" link when we were having our little disagreements? That would have eliminated a LOT of wasted time on all 3 of our parts. That's all I was asking for - RULES!

Is it possible that they had not yet found them?
