ive had great luck with both haynes and chilton for my truck, either wone will work good.

IMO there is no substitute for the factory repair manual. I think you can find them online for like $50.

Shop manual on CD, what a thought.
It never even crossed my mind.

I personally like the Ford factory book, just because my computer always sits at the desk. They arent cheap though. CD's would likely be a good inexpensive resource if they indeed contain all the information in the factory book. The chiltons is basically an abbreviated edition witht the same pics, etc compressed over a several year period. The factory specifics for your year are unserpassed.
