Lost a part 😬

Hi, yes in new, take it easy on me lol. I've been driving my fathers '94 f250 diesel and something fell off last night as I was coming home. If you tell me what is missing in the picture I will post my question in the appropriate thread. 😀

She's rusty and oily and dirty as hell under there. I have medical knowledge, not mechanical but I know more than it sounds like lol. Is the rear fuel tank mounted beside the front or WAS it? The rear tank wasn't used because it leaked anyway

Looks like you lost part of your heat shield. Not a big deal, most of these trucks lost them years ago.
The rear gas tank is at the very back in the middle - above the spare tire.

Looks like you're also missing an exhaust hanger bushing - that's the rubber thing with holes on either end that fits over the spikey looking thing; you can see you have one on one side but not the other. Also not a real big deal but maybe get it checked so your exhaust pipe doesn't break.

Check; and without it the exhaust pipe might rattle like hell! So you really should replace it.

If you can even hear it rattle over the rattle of the diesel!
