Anybody consider 80,000 miles low for a 1989 F-250? It's got a 460 so I can see why maybe it didn't get driven a whole lot. Really likes that gas.

Long periods of sitting can be almost as bad as abuse. A friend of my wife has a 95 with less than 30k and has had some issues with the trans shifting funny. After driving it for awhile it did loosen back up again. If it is 80k with a good maintenance record and a good price then go for it. BTW hers is a 460 also, it will pass anything on the road except a gas station.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I already own the truck, I just figured the miles were sort of low for what it was. I'll probably be racking up the miles on it though if I get it all running right. I let my 93 f150 sit for maybe a week and it shifted hard and took forever, but after driving it on a regular basis it was back to normal. I bought this 89 for $600, but it's been used as a farm truck
