questions aboit bolting up

Ok so I just bought a 93 f150 with a 302 in it. It is a 4x4 the automatic transmission is not functioning at all no reverse no forward gears. I have a 2wd 89 f250 with a 300 in line 6 will they bolt up? Or will the transfer case cause trouble for me? Please need knowledge

Nope, need a 4x4 tranny to have a place to bolt the transfer case to as well as a splined shaft vs a yoke output.

Your choices of 1993 trannys with the 302 would be an E4OD that has a shifter display PRN(D)21, trans code E on door jam sticker, and 20 pan bolts, or an AOD with a shifter PRN(D)D1, trans code U on door jam sticker, and 14 pan bolts.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the knowledge! I think I have solved my problem though. I bought a 91 f150 with a 300 straight 6,automatic transmission and is 4x4 as well. He says the only thing wrong with it is it has a cracked block. Which is a nightmare. But I only need the trany and am glad to keep it as a parts truck. But when I go to change out the transmission is there any gaint warning signs I should look out for? I am a 'shade tree' mechanic I know most of what I am doing haha

That may not work. The 91 300 is going to have an E4OD, and will only work if your blown tranny is also an E4OD. The E4OD requires a computer, the AOD does not.
