What a pain in the butt!!
Truck has been running flawlessly. Stopped by O'reilly's to pick up a new heater core (can smell antifreeze heater on). Started truck to leave and CEL comes on. Drive about a block and it goes off. Couple of blocks later, CEL is back on.
Pulled into my driveway and did the KOEO test and It spits out 126 MAP sensor.
This would be the 3rd one in 4 months!? It was shifting hard on the way home so I wasn't surprised to see the code.
Here's the weird part. After doing the KOEO TEST, I tried to do the KOER TEST.
Turned the key and everything shut down. No dome light or anything.
Jumped the starter solenoid and got NO SPARKS or Clicks.
So I know I need a new battery, but has anyone had a low/bad battery cause the MAP Sensor to act up? I'll have to wait to be rescued by my wife in her little Mini Cooper to go get the battery. Argh!!!!

Ok, "duhhhhh" moment !!
The battery was smaller than required for my truck (battery came with it).
This smaller battery dropped so low that I'm guessing maybe a surge of power from the alternator kicked back and maybe knocked out the second MAP sensor. Another MAP sensor and new correct, larger battery and its up and kicking.
Lol, lights are no longer crappy!!!
