Hi everyone I have a 95 f150 that came with the 5.0 I did a motor swap to a 5.8 because my motor was bad the issue I'm running in to is the motor will only run if sprayed it seems like the injectors are not firing I pulled them checked/cleaned them and they are working as they should the truck it self has the original 5.0 computer and dash harness and has the 5.8 harness under the hood it looks like all the pins match up correctly I am currently out of ideas of what to check now I'm so lost and really need help to get the truck back out on the road if anyone here can help it would be greatly appreciated

 

i have done a 5.0 to 5.8 swap on my f150 with zero issues for 10K miles...

i originally tried to run the 5.8's engine harness and after doing a lap around the street i immediately swapped the 5.0's engine harness.

 

Also got a noide light to see if I am even getting signal to the injectors if I am then I'm going to check the fuel Prussia while cranking

 

I have no idea what the issue might be. I am in the process of doing the swap on my truck, but I am going from 302 EFI to 351 Carb.

 

both motors are efi the 302 is a 95 motor and the 351is a 96 motor

 

So are you using the 302 MAF setup on the 351?

I am using the engine harness for the 5.8 and the under dash harness and computer are from the 5.0

 

Again, are you using a mass air flow sensor or not?
