Question 95 F150 Help..

Hi,

New to forum, I just got a 95 F150 300 v6 2wd 5sp for free and noticed that the engine Drivers side is caked in Oil/Grease. I kniw the VC gasket is shot but its leaking oil bad and cant really tell where its at. Also won't show oil pressure when u hit the gas and it drips at the back if the oil pan. Any help much appreciated.

Its an inline 6 not a v6. If the valve cover gasket is leaking its a pretty easy job to change it out. Also free is a great price man. Hard to beat that

True. Does the engine have a plenum gasket? Just tryin to pinpoint where most of the oil is coming out.

Yes the engine has an upper intake manifold gasket but it couldn't leak oil.

Ok, so the main places would be the VC gasket, Oil Pan & Rear Main?

I would start with the valve cover gasket...easy enough to do. But, if you're not showing any oil pressure you have possibly much bigger problems. Does it blow smoke?

Sounds like rear main seal to me. I would take it to a pressure washing station and clean it up the best you can and then try and find the oil after. Or lots of rags.
