New toy/project

Ran across a new toy while I was on craigslist last week. Needs a good deal of TLC, but it will be a bit of a restoration project/mud toy. For $700 I cannot complain though. 1979 Bronco Custom. Was a little worried my 4.6L 2v was going to have some issues bringing it home, but it did just fine. Glad I did that gear swap last year.

Nice! If I was loaded, I'd love a late 70's F100 to drive. Stock with a nice motor.

Yea, it will take me quite awhile to get it to the point I want. Need to get it where it is at least drivable, then finish my house projects. Once those are done, attention will be back to the Bronco.

Very cool. I've always been a huge fan of Broncos, especially the '78-79 models. What's drivetrain does it have/ will it have?

It has a 351m and I believe the transmission is a C6. Not sure on gears yet, but most likely 3.50, as it is a base model Bronco. I will probably go 4.10's with either a built 351m or 400. A guy I work with has a motor, but he cannot remember if it is a 351m or 400. Thought about getting it from him, to build with, while still being able to drive the Bronco, then drop the built motor in once it is complete.

Haven't posted anything in awhile. Haven't really had time to work on the beast. Did pick up a little something for it this week though.
