Just bought Myself a rare F150 nite

Hi, Im a big fan of the pre 1997 f150s. On my usual daily classified search, i came upon this 1992 f150 flareside nite edition and decided i needed to buy it. It has 140,000 km (87,000miles), 351 v8, auto, and flareside. It still has the nite floormats also. The pic below is what it currently looks like. The guy hasnt done much with the paint, so it has road grime and needs a good polishing. The painted bumper has rock chips. The truck isnt perfect, but it runs good, body has no rust and is straight, and the interior is super clean. I plan to not stray too far from its origionality with the mods. Probably shine it up, maybe put on some different rims. Also, does anyone know if its possible to buy the original graphics for this truck? the stickers on this one are pretty faded.

Nice find! I think those older trucks look the best.

Love the older trucks. This guy took his to the limit. Even though it looks like a nice truck, I think he is asking too much.

He might be the one to ask about the graphics?

The NITEs are slick trucks and Broncos for sure. I vaguely remember a NITE decal thread over on fullsizebronco, will have to search there.

I'm glad he went through the whole thing (supposedly), but I don't care for the ghetto headlights. Leave it original if that's the goal.

Nice looking truck for its age. I'm sure you can find some graphics for it some where.

I found some time to give it a wash. I dont think its been washed in years. Paint appears to be way better condition than i thought. It may only need a good polishing. Stickers still need replacing though

Thanks guys. This generation f150 is my facorite of all the models. This nite is now my second gen 1 shortbox. Last year i was lucky enough to find a 1996 f150 in very good shape. I bought it from an old man who barely drove it. With a little bit of work, i was able to make it mint

That's a great looking little truck too! That has a great "enhanced-OEM" look to it, which I love. Did you sell the red one, or still have it?

I'd still love a supercrew, 94-97, manual, 7.3 F250 shortbed. Beautiful trucks when fresh and taken care of.

I still have the red one too. I plan on keeping both. I will have to stop searching the classifieds before it turns my hobby into hoarding ...haha
