new headlights cyrstal clear vs black

Fixing to order some new headlights with some 5k HIDs so I can't decide between the crystal clear or the black housing with a light smoked lens. You guys have seen pictures of my truck I'm thinking the black housings would look the best with the blue paint. Any suggestion is appreciated tyanks

It's your choice, but as your truck is a light blue rather than dark, clear would look better.

I don't understand why anyone would go with a smoked/tinted lens. Having a dirty lens cover can decrease visibilty, so smoked can't be good. I've seen people with heavily tinted brake lights to the point you can barely see them on! Please be safe (for yourself, your truck, and others) and go with clear!!

I put clears on. They have a super sharp cutoff line. I'm using ailverstar ultras till they burn out

I've been thinking about the same thing, I decided to go with the clears because they don't decrease visibility and they add some depth to the front end.
