Hello I picked up a 1989 F250 460 with a 5 speed. I am working on getting it ready for snow. I had issues with it not wanting to turn over with the key. I just put in a used steering column today. As I was putting the bolts into the firewall to hold the column in place, I bumped the clutch pedal and went to the firewall and stayed their. I have always been able to operate the clutch as it was intended to be used. Now I can pull it out or in it will stay at both positions. Can anyone tell me what happened?
