I have a 94 F150 V8 5.0 2wd, i bought the truck knowing it had shifting problems. When going from 2nd to 3rd, you have to let off of the gas and push on the gas again to go. At first I thought that it was transmission issues, so i had it rebuilt. I got the truck back and it still had the same problem. I got on this website to see other possibilities and i found that if the truck idled high that could cause my truck to shift bad also. I found that my Canister Purge Solenoid was bad and was causing my truck to idle high so i replaced that and it lowered my idle and got rid of the shifting problem. The next day, it started shifting bad again. Now I'm at a loss, any ideas?
