Higher Output Alternator FYI

Just in case someone ever needs to know, the 130 amp alternator in a 1994 F350/E350 7.3L Diesel is a direct fit for a 1995 F150 XLT with a 302. I needed a higher output alt for the electric fan I just put in (salvaged one off of my gf's wrecked 3.8L Mustang) and my buddy at the local O'Reilly's Auto Parts swapped mine out under warranty, exchanging the 95 amp alt I had for the 130 amp alt. I'm now getting 14.2v at the battery with the AC and stereo going and the fan is turning faster.

Be sure when swapping up to the 3G starter from a few different available Ford donor sources to beef up the charging harness as well, or you'll burn the block to the ground when she melts, shorts, sparks, and arcs...

Is there a post on the upgrades to wire harness here. I plan on doing the jump in juice as i want to add a marine battery for the 12 volt system in the slide in camper.
