Fuel pump,(s) stay on with Ign off.

I just found my fuel pump kept running when I turned off my ignition switch. I swapped the Front/Rear selector and it switch the tank and pumps. I had to remove the Fuel Pump plug to stop the pump. What checks can I make to locate the problem?

Have you checked your fuses and relays?

It could also be the sign of a faulty ignition switch.

Failed EEC relay sticking closed, failed EEC, or failed FP relay sticking closed would be my first checks. Do you have a haynes manual and a multimeter?
