wow no takers we put fuel pressure on the line & n fuel preesure turn it over 15 times the fuel pressure hits 40 lbs & she fires, but does this with both tanks so both check valves bad ?? R they seperate or do u have to replace the whole pump or pumps I will only do 1 because once it is running & u switch it over its fine ???

Isn't the pump supposed to run for a few seconds to prime the system before you turn it over?

I know you say you changed it, but that kinda sounds like a plugged filter.

How long does it take for the pressure to bleed down after finishing cranking? I'd be lookin' at the regulator.

It bleeds down right away, dealer said there is a check valve in line on fuel rail which my brother inlaw said he only seen the regulator, a fuel regulator will do this ?? thanks for the tips. The service guy said the valve could be half stuck & returning the gas to the tank that is off making it not get fuel presure right away, makes sense also??

Come on guys lets get the brains working, there is a round chrome diaprham looking thing on the blue fuel line going back from top of motor is that a check valve my brother inlaw stills says both went bad in each tank I dont beleive its that & i am noting pulling a tank to find out its not the problem.. adrian you said regulator how could it be that doesnt that just cause too much gas to flow & run rich ?? or is there a valve in the regulator ??? the chrome thing im talking about looks like a regulator but is a lot thinner about 2" wide 1/2 " thick or so ???
