Transfer Case Motor Prolems?

I have a BW1356 that i believe is giving me problems since the electronic indash 4x4 button sometimes will not click in to either 4h or 4l ... but sometimes, it will...i was told to check the module that handles the 4x4 .. i even replaced it....and it still does it...i even replaced the actual 4x4 buttons on the dash....and it still, sometimes will engage the 4x4 and sometimes it wont....so i came to the conclusion that it's the transfer case motor.....i've been looking for a replacement but cant seem to find one with a 10 pin plug (9 around 1 in center) .. all the ones i've found are 7 pin...is this 10 pin motor an adaptation maybe? something the previous owner may have done??

When and if you buy a new motor, as you noticed, the connections ain't the same. If you have access to a pin extractor tool, you can switch connectors, or just cut, splice, and seal with heat shrink.
