"real" oil pressure mod

hey fellas, just joined the club again.. just got my hands on a 95 5.8 XLT.. that leaks oil live its free... I noticed that besides being loose.. I have some oil pan bolts that are missing .. but also the idiot light oil sensor is leaking.. And since I have a spare OE Ford tube/fitting and sending unit... I figured I throw that on..

But the question I have is.. This truck is equipped with the factory oil cooler, I wanted to ask before I tear it apart and left stranded without a truck.. Will the OE Ford tube/fitting with sender clear the Oil Cooler adapter.. just seeing if anyone has done this mod with the similar 5.8/oil cooler combo??

thanks..

The cooler has nothing to do with it - read this caption & follow the links in it:

the cooler looks like it blocks some of the space the new sender and tube is going to take.. thats why I asked.. the picture your showing that engine isn't equipped with the OE oil cooler

As I said: the cooler has no bearing on this mod.
