I need help!
Ok ya'll,
Here is what I need help with, back in the day, my dad had a 197? F250. The truck he had had a small toolbox on the pass side of the truck bed. I dont know if it is a "highboy" or if it was just a factory deal on some odd models. I need to know, cause I'm looking to buy one and redo it. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Highboy is simply an unofficial term for the 60s to 77.5 F-250 4x4s that were pretty jacked tall from the factory, and had a divorced transfer case.
Mine is a '74.
While I am not up to speed on the underbed toolbox, I believe they were optional on all trucks, but standard on 4x4's and camper specials.
Either way, they have the not so strong low pinion closed knuckle front end's with drum brakes. Otherwise tough trucks that'll get ya some.
