10" clutch to 11" clutch

Hello,
My 1996 F-150 4x4 EB has the 5 speed tranny and 4.9l EFi L6 motor. The OEM clutch is a 10", the question I have is can I bolt an 11" clutch right in. I understand I will need to change the flywheel, am planning on it anyway. I just want a better clutch that has more friction.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Also is there a better slave cylinder assy than OEM? This is the third slave that has failed in 5 years, and its alot of work to replace it.

Are you sure it's a 10"? I don't think Ford put a clutch that small on a 1/2-ton since the early 80s. My '83 flywheel was predrilled & tapped for both sizes.

Where are you getting these crappy slaves, and what brand are they?
