Cool 93 302 swap to a 95 351w

I have a 93 f150 that came stock with a 302. I blew the motor and bought a 95 351.. The motor is installed and I am having problems getting it started.. Checked the timing 4times to make sure its correct and it is. Im getting spark, Im getting fuel.. I put the 95 computer in that came with computer..
I got ahold of a "ford specialist" online and he told me that I needed to change out the wireharness.. The problem I ran into there is the truck this 351 came out of was a 2wd truck and mine is 4x4 so it wont work out.. Ive tried to find a adaptor for the transmision but wasnt able to.. Does anybody know of a adaptor for this.? Or does anybody have a wiresharness they are trying to get rid of that would work for a 4x4 truck with a 95 351w???? birthdays next month and im trying to load the dirt bike up and take it camping.. Any suggestions helps. thanks alot..

You may have more issues than 2WD/4WD
What transmission is in the truck now?
The PCM from a 351 is going to be looking for an E4OD and I'm pretty sure there are pinout changes on the E4OD between 93 and 95

You will still have to resolve the pinout differences between a 93 tranny and a 95 harness

I would think it would at least run. These old speed density computers are not that evolved. You are aware that the timing could be 180 degrees off? You need to verify the compression stroke on number 1 (passenger side bank, front) before verifying your timing marks.

Im looking for the harness, comp and i guess the solenoid for the 95..
Your right there are pinout changes Ill have to change out on the trans..
wouldnt think it would be such a pain in the *** finding this yr motor..
This is my first swap. Def didnt do all the research I should have.. from speed density to maf. whole harnesss im needin, trans changes. shoulda went 94 with it and saved all this extra hassle. ha.
The timings been checked about 4 times. Firing orders been changed.
Think it should still start up with the 93 comp and harness in. ?

What's wrong with finding a 93 speed density computer for a 351W? Mass air is more desirable, but unless you're going to modify the engine, you don't need to go through the hassle of conversion.

would it be as easy as that?
Just get a 93 comp for a 5.8 and then just switch out the injector harness and that be it?
Or how about just getting the airbox for maf, the sensor and the 95 5.8 comp?
would that complete the conversion to maf or is there more to it?

I'm not even sure you need to switch out the injector harness because of the batch firing sequence for the injectors. You'd have to look at the pin outs, but I think it's that simple. On the other hand, converting to mass air is going to require completely different wiring for the PCM. The speed density stuff is EEC-IV. When Ford converted the trucks to mass air, they migrated to EEC-V.
