Installing a SunPro Temp. Gauge

hey guys, i have a 1985 f150 with a 300 straight 6. ive been workin on the truck for a lil over 2 years, and its finally on the road. well you know how the old gauges are in these trucks, they just say normal and have a needle that floats. well im wannt a more accurate reading on my temp. soo i went and bought a sun pro temp gauge. because i wanna know how hot the truck really is. cause some times it smells or it seems like its runnin hot than the stock gauge is reading. has anybody installed one of these on their straight 6. and could help me with pics and how too install it?? thanks guys
Jared
