hey guys i have used the site and gained alot of knowledge so thank you all. but i have finally decided to sign up and get some more info possibly from yall. so my truck is slightyl hopped up but i like it being quick and i do use it as a truck. it is only 2wd but does go off road some. i have a 302, edelbrock performer carb and intakem longtube headers, dual ehaust and cherry bombs, gm style hei one wire ditributor. but my limited slip is on the fritz! i got stuck in the grass! so i need a new rear posi unnit i want affordable but no junk. and how do i tell if a unit is good at the junk yard? how to test it? i would like to get one from the junkyard while i build mine. next thing is our trucks use a 5x5.5 lug pattern and alot of dodges even the current ones use that pattern as well can i use them on my truck? i would like 18 or 20 inch steelies. i like the look. thank you guys looking forward to your help!
