You are going to race only or whats your plans for it? I honeslty dont know either. Im sure with that motor alone he has quite a bit in it.

just ask the seller for their bottom line price. That way you can determine if it's within your budget to even offer.

Nah, im not going to race, I just want it to drive around. He says with the frame off restoration several years ago, he has over 40k in it? He told me he will take $12,000 is that fair or should I work on him?

i think it depends how it runs now and if you have to put in more work. sounds like a monster to just cruise around.

i'm wondering why i see 3 tailpipes.

I see four tail pipes, the fact that it is 4 separate pipes confuses/scares me.
It's kind of cool to see one of these years of 'less desirable' trucks being made into something cool.
It desperately needs clear corners though, it will look a load better with those.

4 tailpipes and battery connections that look like they're from day 1, I don't think so.

4 tailpipes could be 2 w/ muffler and 2 w/ electric cutoffs (straight pipes). And I don't see a reserve at all on it. I may be mistaken but it looks like last bid wins...no matter price.

It says in the add the reserve is set extremely low, if there actually is one, cause it has to be sold no matter what.
The truck is cool, but for a street cruiser it wouldn't be very good.
You'd end up in big trouble with all that power and probably put more money in the gas tank than anything.
Drag racing it would be fun though.

They are definitely 4 separate pipes. Look where the pipes go into the tips, 4 pipes..
I could see having a street legal exhaust and dumps for racing, but running the dumps out the back with extra tips looks retarded.

I agree but it would help w/ sound in the cab. I always wanted to run dumps on one of my rides but have a pipe to bring it out under the fender. Also helps w/ keeping soot from all over the underneath.

Running dumps is one thing, dumping it under the truck farther back for 'noise' is alright, but you also have to consider this is a drag truck. Noise isn't something to be worried about. And as for soot... that's diesel. But as far as exhaust dirtying up the underside from dumps.. again it's a drag truck one big smokey burnout is gunna get more gunk under there than those pipes ever will. As well as just driving it on the street if it is in fact legal. Just my .02 There's no need for the hideous extra pipes.
