1993 4.9L inline 6 MAF sensor question

Got a code for MAF sensor and read that it's usally an easy fix by cleaning it. Pretty sure where it is but hoping to get some input here. Location, pics of the sensor or loaction?? or tips. plan using contact cleaner once it's pulled.

thanks, Mark.

I wasn't aware a 93 had MAF. Thought the 94 302's were the first. What is your code?

The 93 4.9 does not have a MAF. It is speed/density.
Allegedly there are some 95 CA 4.9s that are MAF but in general the only MAF 4.9s were 96-97

'94 5.0L w/E4OD or 4R70W are EEC-IV MAF.
'95 4.9L & 5.8L w/E4OD or 4R70W are EEC-IV MAF. All '95 5.0L are EEC-IV MAF.
All '96 are OBD-II MAF.

The MAF is always attached to the air filter cover:

.

Look up your code in this caption, or at the links in it:
