Squeaking U joint

I hear squeaking sound from the rear end of my truck. The frequency of the sound increases with speed which makes me believe it is my rear U joint. But I have replace my U joint just a year ago. I am wondering what else can explain this squeaking.

Could it possibly be the brakes? when you push the brakes does it make the sound change (until you stop of course)

If you replaced the u-joint with one that has a grease fitting, grease it........

Cheap u-joints or good ones installed wrong can go bad in less than a year. Get under there & check.
