Never heard of anyone using them on a pre 97.
They would probably do the same as a leveling kit causing bad angles for the ttb and alignment issues.
This subject has been gone over a lot just look back through a few threads and you'll see the problems.

Mine is 4x4 and is still stock.
I'm going to skip the whole leveling kit and it's problems and just save for a lift.
There is a member, chris something or another, that used a level kit and got his aligned and it looks really good.

I've seen a lot of people run 33's on their stock 4x4, which are 2 inches higher than 4x2. So I'm sure they would fit on a leveled 4x2 right?

It'll be close, but you'll need to literally get a lift, a leveling kit will not align correctly. You will need drop down brackets and such, which come in lift kits. Without it, it'll drive\ride\steer like crap. On top of that, it'll eat tires for breakfast with a side of wheel bearings.

Buddy of mine did the samething I want, on a 95 f150 2wd and got it aligned just fine. He put 32x1150x15 and it looked good. Would that be a better setup?

The 5100's for the older F150's/Broncos aren't adjustable. The adjustable 5100's for the newer trucks are coilover shocks.FWIW I have the non adjustable 5100's on my 92 Bronco.

Probably wouldn't fit 33's on a 2wd without a full lift. A level just doesn't get get it up there enough.
I know 33's would fit a stock 4by but i wouldn't try it.
If your buddy did it and it worked and you think it will work for you then by all means do what you want, your truck not mine.
