So I have a 1988 f150 standard 5 speed and im thinking about selling it. I bought the truck for $1400 and have done about $2800 of work to it since then. Alternator, clutch, fuel diverter, power steering pump, master cylinder, the list goes on people. I ask this because I found a 1995 f150 xlt for $800 with no transmission. I can afford to buy the truck but not the transmission after, so thats where my 88 comes in play. I could really use the extended cab thats why i consider it. My 88 has 151k miles on it and the 95 has 200k

I understand it's ultimately my choice but I want someone elses thoughts and opinions. Thanks
