Truck died..

I put the tranny in neutral to coast to a stop and my dash lit up.
I was royally confused cause the radio was up so I had no idea the engine cut out.
I turned the key and it started right back up.
Any ideas why this happened?
I put it in neutral and coasted to a stop again and the engine stayed running this time.
I am royally confused.

Maybe it wants another swiming lesson.

Sorry couldn't help myself.

It isn't uncommon for a truck to have problems show up after a dunk. What you might want to do is check ALL your connector plugs and make sure they are clean. It has been awhile since it got wet and they might be starting to corrode.

That would be my $0.02 good luck.

My little swimmer doesn't even need floaties anymore!
But for real, I didn't even think of that. I guess I'll break out the di-electric grease and have at it.
Thanks Jim.
