I appear to be having a fuel supply issue. When I first installed my 300 (after taking out a FI 302) I had a mechinical fuel pump with a filter before it. You could watch the pump drain the filter. So I installed a electric pump in the same location as the FI inline. That fixed the problem( I thought). If I run the truck hard such as climbing hills holding 3000 RPM, the truck will start to buck just like it running out of fuel. I am running a truck avenger 470. Are the low pressure electric pumps in the tanks not supplying enough flow for the carb? Does an EFI system not use as much fuel as a carb??

Has anyone had any problems with the fuel tank selector valve on a 88-89??? These are mechanical diaphram valves. I am not getting fuel from the rear tank. I replaced the tank and pump about six months ago,
