I think it was a late 80's truck just a reg. 302. My only concern was the bellhousing and input shaft, which I beleive I remember looking the same when I had mine.

The bellhousing pattern is the same as is the input shaft.
The flywheel is different though, it's zero imbalance. So he will need a 300 flywheel if his is shot

What exact trans are you selling, and what trans in in the 300 right now? Both trucks please - 4x2 or 4x4?

I thought we were talking about a manual tranny. If it's an auto all bets are off.

You want to put a late 80s AOD behind a 91 300?
It won't work unless you replace the PCM. The 300 came with an E4OD tranny which is electronically controlled. To put in a mechanically controlled AOD, you'd need a PCM from a manual tranny truck and even then it's not going to be a straight bolt-on. Add to that the fact that a stock AOD isn't really a very good tranny and it makes even less sense. IMHO this is just not a good idea.

Yup, that's a no-go. Ford never put an AOD in a 300, they went right from the C6 to the E4OD. The only F-150 engine that ever had an AOD was the 302.

he didn't ask if it would work properly, he only asked if it would bolt on
