Spray Bombed

Got tired of the dead red paint, so went ahead and spray bombed it. Scuffed one fender and primed it, and said screw it for the rest... so have extra cans for touch up as it scratches off in the woods. Going to be doing the grill flat black, and everything else thats chrome once I find a good method. Have clear roof lights and turn signals in the mail to replace the orange. Have a new set of flares for it, but I'd rather it throw mud like crazy and I like the tires sticking out, so those are staying off until I get a ticket or something (bunch of holes from where they were though). She was never a show truck, so figured i'd have fun with it I think it looks a ton meaner for sure

Yeah I was thinking about doing flat black at first, but after seeing so many cars/trucks with it done I changed my mind. I have yet to see a spray-canned flat black job that didn't look blotchy and spotty. I figured at least with the green it'll all blend together even if I have to spray some touch up spots.
I planned on throwing the new flares I have on it (old ones were falling apart and got a new set sent warrantied) but I really like the tires sticking out a bit past the body line haha. Not to mention it throws mud EVERYWHERE now , which the flares wouldn't let me do. I do think it would look cleaner with the flares though, being that the fenders are cut and holes where they were mounted.
Put clear turn signal lenses in the other day, and have clear cab lights I just have to wire up. Just gotta smoke the side markers and that'll get rid of all the orange lights since they don't go good with the color scheme now haha
