muffler recomendation?

i'm looking at taking the header pipes that run run over to the passenger side of the car and running them into a y pipe and then a muffler and out in front of the right rear tire. There is no cat and i wanted to know what peoples recommendation would be for a muffler. it is the 5.0 and i want the raspier higher pitched sound instead of the low rumble that every truck around town has. thanks for any input

You'll want something w/ some restriction for back pressure to insure proper valve closure. The Cat normally takes care of that. Then a Glass pack muffler will give you a raspy pitch. You want to increase your pipe dimension at the Y.

I think a Dynomax Race Bullet would sound great on your truck.
