Suspension issue....maybe?

Well I think I may have a suspension issue with my truck. Info: '93, 5.8L, 4x4, extended cab with 137k miles.

Now I recently just installed 4 new tires on my truck. And now my front tires are beginning to cup with like only 400 miles on them. Now, I work at a tire shop so the balance on them is perfect but it could be the tires (Yokohama ATS 31x10.5x15) and this is my first time using this brand, I usually go with BFG AT. Now Im just trying to figure out other issues. But cupping this early in the tires life could be caused by my trucks suspension.

Now, when do you know to replace the front coils?...my truck has taken beatens in the desert so the coils have seen some hard use. But I dont know what the original owner did to the truck before he sold it...I bought the truck off a car lot. And if I do need to replace the coils; how difficult is it?

Second, how often do I need to replace shocks? And which is a good replacement shock for these trucks? Any upgrade shocks I should look at?

Thanks ahead of time

Are your camber, caster and toe settings within spec?
If they aren't then adjust them accordingly.
If you cannot get the camber within spec then you probably need new springs.
As for shocks, I'm happy with Bilstein; there are many other good choices.

I just got my alignment done a couple of days ago. So I guess I'll wait and see how my tires wear after a few hundred miles. If it gets worse then I will call the alignment shop and tell them my issue and see what they say and will either look at the cost to re-work my suspension.

The alignment shop should be telling YOU what the suspension needs, if anything.
