fuel tanks

i have a chance to pick up a pair of fuel tanks out of an f-350 (95) that has a 460 in it but it has the high pressure in line fuel pump also. the fuel tanks are complete with pumps and sending units. question is will they work on my 95 f-150 with the 300 in it, and i do not have the high pressure in line pump. i have one bad pump and reason to beleive the other pump is going bad. the guy is going to sell me the tanks and pumps for $50 so i don't want to pass on them if they'll work, that's less than a third of the cost of just one pump

AFAIK a 95 should not have the inline pump. Something seems amiss here.

1989 was the last F-series truck to have the frame mounted pump and if it is a 1989 or older fuel system it will not work for your truck. Also check to see if it has the fuel valve mounted on the frame if it does it will not work for your truck.
If he has added the pump and or the valve on the frame the pumps in the tanks may be bad.
