1970s "Big Red" factory lift?

Hi guys

I just found a nice 1970s not sure what year F250. does anyone have any info on the truck they produced called "Big Red" with a factory lift back then?

i dont know anything about them and google didtn turn up anything at all it has no rust but is is kind of rough shape, i think it has a 390 but im not sure he wants 4000$ for it and im really considering selling my lifted 1998 and getting this classic i love old ford trucks.

1998 F150 xlt 4x4 xtra cab 5spd
RCD lift, rear AAL
4.56 gears 35" pro comp m/ts on 16" eagle alloys
custom dual exhaust (truck is now for sale)

1969 F250 ranger
390 4spd
2 tone blue
custom cab

ive never heard of a big red but i have heard of 70's high boys i think they come from the factory with a 4in lift and your supposed to be able to fit like 38's on them stock not too sure tho

I'm not sure if it one of those, but I remember like 20 years ago, my father was a salesman for the local dealership, and they had a orange Ford truck wich was lifted from the factory... I think it was called the Big Foot or something like that...

my buddy has 35s on his 76 highboy no problem,and I belive it was a 4inch from the factory
