I finally sold that piece of ****. That truck was nothing but a piece of ****. No wonder i hate fords. FOUND ON ROAD DEAD, FIX OR REPAIR DAILY! Those 2 statements are 110% correct. I wish ford could build some better vehicles. I will stick to my Dodge Diesel. Dodge builds a way better truck than ford. I cant believe I got as much money for the truck I just sold. Sorry I hate to rant. That truck just pissed me off one tooo many times. I hope that piece of **** gets crushed in a junk yard real soon. Thanks for listening to me rant.

i'm thinking user error, my 93 f150 has 266000 miles and it runs drives like new and as said before what the hell did you expect from a carbed 86 pickup. worst part is a dodge popped a head gasket in my school parking lot today. oh, and if dodge makes such a great truck then why are they going out of business?.
besides the cummins is the only thing worth buying a dodge for.

Isn't there a rumour going around that Ford is getting cummins? IMO that will make Fords unstoppable if it is true. As someone else said, the only good thing about a dodge is a cummins diesel.

WICKID- Those videos say nothing about the cummins. Its a very good engine. By the way ford sucks, well at least the one I had did.

 

Why would ford want the cummins? If ford was sooo good then why would they want to have the cummins? They got the power stokes that are very common for injector problems.

 

i bet you were dumb enough to put a tornado fuel saver in that ford you had. as said before user error.
its not the cummins you need to worry about. its everything around it. weak trannies, crappy designed front axle u joints, all the axle seals and bearings, transfer cases, heater and evaporater cores. i'm gonna stop there for now. if you want me to go through the rest of the problems then just let me know

 

you know cummins is a completely different company right? noone owns them, they make the engine for dodge. which the new ones are having your typical dodge problems. and the powerstrokes, they are built by international. the 7.3 is an excellent engine without a single problem. the 6.0 had the issues in 03-04. they are now a good engine. and the 6.4, well they had what many people like to call a flame thrower option because they threw flames out the tailpipe. simple flash of the computer and its fixed.
